DEPARTMENT 310- DIVISIONS 600 - 609 

 

ENTRIES:

  • Entry Forms & Fees Due:   Saturday, April 7th by 5:00pm

  • Stall Fees: $8.00 per Head,  $15 per head for replacement heifers

  • Show Limit: 2 Animals per Class

  • Entries Arrival & Judged: See Livestock Schedule

  • Entries Released: Breeding Animals & Tack - Sunday, May 20th @ 4 p.m.

Must have signed Livestock Release Slip

RULES:

  • Refer to State and Local Rules, which apply to these divisions.

  • Must be under owners care and management for 60 days. Proof of Ownership, Bill of Sale required

  • American System of Judging

  • All breeds judged together

  • 4-H/FFA/Grange judged together

  • All age descriptions are based on show day

  • All Cattle must have yellow haul slips available during weigh in for the brand inspector. (Even if yellow slip was used as proof of ownership at time of entry)

  • Must submit original registration papers with entry forms. (please do not mail, fair office will make a copy)

  1. COW/CALF:  Cow may be any age but calf must be nursing and born between 9/13/2016 and 5/19/2017.

  • All lambs must show lambs teeth.

  • American System of Judging

  • All breeds judged together

  • 4-H/FFA/Grange judged together

  • All sheep must have scrapie identification

  • Flock numbers shall be used to identify all entries.  Numbers shall be on regular and practical tags attached to the ear or tattooed in the ear

  • Any Exhibitor may not use the same flock number on more than one animal during any two consecutive calendar years

  • All age descriptions are based on show day

  • Must submit original registration papers with entry forms. (please do not mail, fair office will make a copy)

  • All entries under one year of age must show milk teeth

  • American System of Judging

  • All breeds judged together

  • 4-H/FFA/Grange judged together

  • All goats must have scrapie identification, or registration tattoos or electronic identification

  • All goats must have legible tattoos or other means of permanent identification

  • Any female over 24 months in age that has not kidded, and cannot prove current pregnancy, will not be allowed to show.

  • Registered and unregistered meat goats will be accepted.  All goats must be of meat type breeding.

  • All age descriptions are based on show day

  • Must submit original registration papers with entry forms. (please do not mail, fair office will make a copy)

  • All breeds judged together

  • 4-H/FFA/Grange judged together

  • All goats must have scrapie identification, or registration tattoos or electronic identification

  • All goats must have legible tattoos or other means of permanent identification

  • All goats must be milked-out the night before show day.

  • All age descriptions are based on show day

  • Must submit original of registration papers with entry forms. (please do not mail, fair office will make a copy)

 

 

DIVISION 630 – Doe – Purebred/Registered

DIVISION 631 – Doe – Recorded Grade/Unregistered

 

Class

  1. Jr. Kid - Born on or after April 1st of the exhibit year

  2. Intermediate Kid - Born March of the exhibit year

  3. Sr. Kid - Born January 1st to February 29th of the exhibit year

  4. Yearlings not in milk - Born in the year preceding the exhibit year

  5. Yearling Milker - Born in the year preceding the exhibit year

  6. 2 Year Olds -  At least 2 years of age, but under 3 years of age

  7. 3 Year Ol - At least 3 years of age, but under 4 years of age

  8. 4 Year Olds - At least 4 years of age, but under 5 years of age

  9. 5 Year Olds  -5 years of age or older
